Mixed martial arts (MMA) is a full-contact combat sport that allows both striking and grappling, both standing and on the ground, using techniques from other combat sports and martial arts. Mixed Martial Arts is the fastest growing sport in the world. MMA encompasses disciplines from various martial arts and Olympic sports, such as boxing, kick-boxing, karate, jiu-jitsu, muay thai, tae kwon do, wrestling and judo. MMA athletes are highly skilled and some of the most well conditioned athletes in sport. It takes years of dedication and hard training to be successful. Many MMA athletes have University degrees, as a direct result of their wrestling or sporting scholarships. A common misconception is that MMA has no rules, when in fact, it has many. The Unified Rules of Mixed Martial Arts is the most common rule set used throughout the world. All state athletic commissions world wide adopt the Unified Rules to help regulate the sport.
We host classes Monday – Thursday at 18:30pm
Single Module: R750 per month
Multi Classes: R1000 per month
Single classes and multi classes work per time slot. Eg. Single Module at 3pm lets you come to the gym every day and do ONE type of training if it is available that dayat that time slot. Eg. Multi Module at 3pm lets you come to the gym every day and do ANY type of training if it is available that day at that time slot
